New Discussion: Google Buzz

Google has just launched it’s latest effort to get in on the social media revolution: Google Buzz. Integrated into Gmail, it is a Facebook-esque sharing and status update tool.

It’s a little disappointing. Google used to be the forerunner in new technology, not jumping on bandwagons. The status update, the sharing and the @reply have all been done. What’s new? What’s different? I predict this will be a dud. Your thoughts?
